Located snugly within the concrete embrace of the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia's architecture faculty, Café Tok Su offers a delightful retreat for students and visitors alike. This cozy café has carved out a niche for itself as an invaluable resource for affordable and delicious meals, and it’s no wonder that it's favored by many on campus.

At Café Tok Su, you’ll find a menu brimming with traditional Malay dishes that resonate with both flavor and comfort. Customers rave about the nasi campur, where a selection of vibrant side dishes accompanies fluffy rice, providing a satisfying and hearty meal. The nasi bungkus, popular among patrons like Jeffri Rahman, stands out for its unbeatable price of just RM 4.50 - a complete steal for students keen on enjoying flavorful fried chicken and vegetables. As Dr. Halliru Shuaibu fondly reminisces, the food here offers a perfect escape during study breaks, making for memorable lunchtime moments that linger long after the last bite.

The atmosphere encapsulates a warm, welcoming vibe that's ideal for both quick meals and more leisurely chats. Despite its limited seating, which creates a cozy and somewhat secluded ambiance, the hustle and bustle of hungry students give it a lively charm. However, if you plan to visit during peak lunch hours, be prepared to arrive early to secure your spot!

While some reviews note that hygiene can fluctuate based on the day’s activities, customers are encouraged to communicate with the staff, who are known for their excellent hospitality and willingness to ensure your dining experience is pleasant. As one customer highlighted, if the table isn't to your liking, simply ask for a cloth, and they will promptly assist you. This level of service, combined with affordable pricing and tempting dishes, makes Café Tok Su a must-visit stop within the university grounds.

So why wait? As Yuan so aptly puts it, the food at Café Tok Su is not just nice and cheap; it’s a culinary experience waiting to be discovered. Whether you're a student needing a break or simply a passerby craving authentic Malay flavors, you will undoubtedly find something to love at Café Tok Su.

Among the cheapest on campus, under the architecture faculty building, cozy and secluded. seats are limited compared to other food courts on campus so do be hasty. parking is best across the road in the carpark.

The usual place for me to tapau nasi bungkus within the campus. Two kinds of lauk, vegetables and fried chicken cost only RM 4.50. Kipidap kipidap! And the taste were delicious too!

Good selection of nasi campur and other Malay a la carte dishes. Priced for students, tend to be packed during lunch hours.

The foods are nice and cheap, and the person in charge has very nice attitude. Some food are spicy but it taste really nice. The hygiene of the cafe is not that good but also not that bad either, it depends on how the last customer had there meals. You can actually ask for a cloth to clean the table. Other than that, i don't see any reason why I should no go there to have my meal, because why not? Its affordable and large portion, and is suitable for me as a university student.

Every foods are properly served. Dishes are tasty like a true malay cooking. I prefer this place rather than nearby Meranti food court. Price is affordable suit with the portion and quality is being served.
